Dear Friends & Family,
April 7, 2020
SEW STRONG is a community call to action by Osei en Rose. Though I am a full-time fashion designer, my first love was Pharmacy and I still practice within the profession. Since the surge of the COVID-19 Pandemic, I personally have witnessed the impact of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) shortages and seen fellow colleagues fall ill to this silent killer.
SEW STRONG is a collective effort to ensure that healthcare employees will not continue to choose between their own well being and saving lives. Our first initiative is a reusable cloth mask campaign for essential personnel. The masks produced during this campaign can be worn alone or over N95 masks to preserve shelf-life. Our target is to donate 1,000 masks over the next 30 days.
